With a conventional curb chain the chain twists in one direction causing the curb bit to move slightly to the right as the chain is not balanced. This could cause mouth and tongue problems. The right curb hook usually moves inwards to the cheek corner with the potential to pinch the flews. The KD Curb Chain is more balanced as it twists from the center of the chain out in opposing directions for a more balanced action. This helps to prevent mouth and tongue vices, reduces the habit of sticking out the tongue, aids protection to the flews and assists in bit contact, suppleness and the horse’s chewing activity.
Lends an even and well balanced distribution of
pressure on the tongue.
Supports the horse’s concentration and
thoroughness.
Promotes the horse’s willingness to perform.
A twisted chain is a thing of the past.
